INDEPENDENCE DAY (August 14, 2007)

Annual Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated in Tehsil Municipal Administration Bhalwal. The schedule program was as under :-

The students of the Govt. & private institutions participated in the competition of Husan-e-Qirat, Naat Khawani, Mili Naghma and speech on Independence Dayat Dr Abdul Qadir Hall TMA, Bhalwal on August 13, 2007 under the Chairmanship of Tehsil MMunicipal Officer, TMA, Bhalwal. A Musical Programme presented by Ghalib Groups on 13^th night. The ublic participated harmly. The Chief Guest was Khawaja Masod Ahmad General Secretary Tajraan Bhalwal. On the 14^th of August after Fajar Prayer special programme of Quran Khawani made in Jamia Mosque Main Bazar Bhalwal. At 7:58 Am the flag of Pakistan was saluted by the Police Staff the winners of the competition were awarded 1^st , 2^nd & 3^rd positions by the Tehsil Nazim. In the night of 14^th August the finest lighting decorated at TMA office. The following persons were awarded Achievement Awards by the Tehsil Nazim Bhalwal:-

2.         Tahir Abbas Naqvi                                   

3.         Malik Muhammad Rafique Athar.  

4.         Nazar Hussain Qureshi                  

5.         Asghar Hussain Shaami.

The ladies programme was also managed in the Abdul Qadir Hall under the supervision of Mrs. Farah Shaheen Lady Counciller.

OPEN KATCHEHRY (Jun 8^th, 2007 )

Open Katchehry at Qadeer Hall TMA Bhalwal was conducted under the president ship of Regional Police Officer Sargodha to solve the complaints of public at site against the Police Department on Friday Jun 8^th, 2007 at 10 am. Following were also present in the Katchehry.

MELA BESAKHI MIANI (April 16, 2007 to April 18, 2007)

Mela Besakhi Miani is being celebrated regularly  every year on the eve of Besakhi in Miani City Tehsil Bhalwal. This year it was celebrated with great zeal and zest for three days w.e.f April 16, 2007 to April 18, 2007. The programe was inaugurated by Mr. Malik Imtiaz Ahmad Bharath Tehsil Nazim Bhalwal.

Agricultural Seminar (April 19,2007)

An Agricultural Seminar was held on April 19, 2007 at Dr. Abudulqadeer Hall Tehsil Municipal Administration Bhalwal. Minister of Agriculture was invited as Chief Geust. 

Provision of Building for Press Club Bhalwal

Media has become a necessity in modern age. Free media is essential for progress of any country because it shows the mirror to Government and hence it works better. in Tehsil Bhalwal Journalists didn't have any proper office or press club to work properly. It was their big demand to have it. They requested every Govt. but did not work. The credit goes to TMA, Bhalwal which provided a proper building to them to have their press club. Journalists of Bhalwal organized a special function at TMA, Bhalwal and Chief Guest Tehsil Nazim Bhalwal handed over the keys of press club to its president. Journalists are very happy and thankful to TMA, Bhalwal for provision of press club.
